Description
Papad(Appalam) is a very famous South Indian delicacy , a mouth watering crispy side dish/snack.
The appalams are usually fried or roasted, offering a perfect accompaniment to rice dishes. They can also be enjoyed as a standalone snack due to their savory taste and crunchy texture.
Pepper Appalam is yet another fancy member from the Appalam family which has a spicy taste of pepper that comes with crunchy taste.
How we prepare?
This appalam is made primarily from urad dal (Ulundhu), a legume rich in protein and essential nutrients. The urad dal is finely ground into a smooth dough, seasoned with freshly ground pepper, and sun-dried to perfection.
Black pepper not only cures sore throat but also brings health benefits such as aiding digestion and boosting metabolism.
